So as you all can see, I never deleted Highschool Confessional. I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

I put so much time and effort into this blog and it really affected how I look at social networking and what the internet could truly do for people.

So I thought I would keep you all posted with some other social networking things I have been doing with my life since Highschool Confessional...

I created a vlog.

I have found myself falling in love with video media and the great things youtube can do for a community. After watching several other youtube vlogs (one being meekakitty, my inspiration!) I have gained the courage to make one of my own.

Last blog...how bittersweet

Well, its my junior year and I am busy as ever. I barely have time to look decent in the mornings.

So after careful though and consideration, I am shutting down highschool confessional. This is a bittersweet kind of day indeed.

I have felt god working though my life so much, that I don't have time to worry about fashion or what not. I should be worrying about school work, getting into college, but most importantly serving him.

This past week has been pretty hectic, so sorry for the lack of postage. But I have something pretty funny (and amazing!) to show you all. My best friends made a video to Bike Thief by Freezepop, and it turned out great. Plus I love all there crazy makeup and hair. There funny ones... anywho, turn that sound up and watch it!

Inspiration: Pants

This Saturday I am going on a huge shopping day with mi madre, so I am organizing my "inspiration book" with all the great pictures I have been finding. So this week I thought I would share :D
I have huge hips. Its unbelievable how big they are. anywho, I have been searching for the perfect pair of wide leg pants. :D
I have been having a new obsession with light denim, but rolled like so. I want to find a pair of "Mens fit" jeans...kind of like the ones Ellen Paige wore in Juno
Finally (this is my favorite pic) I want a pair of toned down Harlem style pants. Basically, her whole outfit above I want. Including the blazer.

pears, cheese and greens oh my!

This may be the last "food" post on my personal/fashion blog. But I am a little nervous about creating a new one and having alot of people look at one, but not the other. Any suggestions?
My midterms were this past week, and every day for lunch I made this delicious salad. I used half a pear and cut it into smallish chunks. Then I had Gorgonzola (or blue.) cheese and fat free balsamic vinaigrette dressing over a mix of romaine and spinach leaves. It was SO good, I practically licked the bowl.

mmmm, crisp and juicy

Here is some delishiousness for today. Sorry I haven't created a new blog for my foods of the year. midterms now -_- So...breakfeast was an oatmeal to go bar.

All my meals today aren't very vegan friendly, but you can certainley alternate them! I tried going vegiterian, and it just did not work out. Anywho, Lunch consisted of what I like to call a "very veggie burger". You see, I was not inspired to eat any bread today. We ran out of whole wheat, so I turned the 80 calorie boca vegan burger patties into the "buns" and used peppers, 1 piece of muenster, and lettuce as my inside. (Don't worry, I ate it with a fork and knife XD) but mmmmm! It was delish!

I have such a thing for veggie burgers. There just SO good.
Dinner was so delish. (fyi: that is my new word. Delish :D )I made leftover salmon (about 1/4 of a huge fillet) and some green beans :) I was so proud :) So that was the health for today. I need to start eating some more snacks though, like carrots and celery. As for today...

Well, one of my goals of the new year is to have a healthy lifestyle. I want to maintain the healthy lifestyle I have already began building. So I decided to post my breakfast for today thanks to La Belle Vegan
Her recipe was a little different then mine, with some nuts and oat bran, but I am allergic to Peanuts and almonds, so I just stray away from nuts XD Check out her original recipe! Anywho, mine consisted of 1/2 cup of Quaker whole grain oats, some unmeasured ground cinnamon and allspice, some unmeasured light vanilla soy milk, and 1 chopped medium sized red apple.
I combined the oats and spices, then microwaved some of the soymilk to get it nice and warm for my oatmeal :) so I put that in, constantly making sure all the spices were blended, then I just threw the apples in. I didn't like how the apples were cold though, so I should have microwaved them before XD anywho, it turned out really well, since I found a solution to making the apples warm and all XD Latley I have been drinking so much green tea. I wanted to add more water to my diet, and green tea (I thought) would would be a great solution. Plus, unlike water, it has a ton of antioxidants to clear out my system :)
If I continue taking photos of my food, I may make a new blog for it...

April showers bring May flowers...

There is 7 inches of snow outside, and I am already longing for it to melt and spring to be here. Even though its a little late, I though I would post some of my favorite runway styles for this spring.

Well, The first photo on the left is courtesy of Style and the City, and even though its not a runway look, i though it caught the essence of what I want to portray in the spring. Very polished, but relaxed. Put together, but effortless. I love her long hair as well. Oh how I want long flowing locks...

The second photo (center) was seen on the Marc Jacobs catwalk during fashion week. I thought the bag truley a work of art. One thing I am trying to do is really define my wardrobe and buy more staples in clothing, but pops for accessories. This bag is basically fabulous.

The third photo I was quite a suprise. I have never been a huge fan of DVF until the show The City (see below post), so I have been paying attention to there runway much more carefully. I think this dress is so simple yet chic. I never can seem to find cute simple summer dresses. This will definetly be my model.

As many of you may know, Whitney Ports new Hills spin-off show The City just aired a mere two weeks ago, and I already think it is fabulous. I just adore Whitney Port. Unlike Lauren Conrad, her ex co-worker and gossip partner, she is very focused on her work and reaching the top. She doesn't let relationships get in her way. I also love the fact that it is set in NYC instead of the west coast; it definetly adds a new aspect to all the MTV reality shows. The fashion is fantastic, and her job really intrigues me. Possible Career? Anyways, this show is a MUST see. As for today...

Thats so 90s...

Here is that fashion post I have been promising :D By far one of the biggest inside jokes between my friends and I is 80s/90s jackets. You know the type, with the colorful blocks, big puffy sleeves, and such. It basically began when I sported one to a field hockey game, and the rest was history. We have been searching the thrift stores to find such wondrous 90s jackets. So one I flipped open my February issue of Teen Vogue to pg. 81, I was in shock at the beautiful neon color of this 90s jacket :D So for this new year I dare you to...
1) add some spontaneous neons and brights in your wardrobe. They definetly brighten my day.
2) find a 90s jacket! And definetly sport it with some Raybans :D
3) Just have fun. My word of the year=spontaneous!

I love Holiday Breaks. Always a chance to catch up on my blogging, relax, hang out with the fam. , get together with those friends who will be there forever(aka: jess! :D ) and such. Plus do a lot of catching up in the fashion world. This next week or so will contain alot of posts, mabey even two in the same day if your all good the rest of this year ;DMy Christmas was absolutley fantastic. I got several presents including... a new camera! (by far one of my favorite gifts, victorias secret sleepwear, slippers, and the perfume wheel above :D, Gilmore Girls season 1, new coat, cardigans and thin turtleneck, lots of cream and smelly things, mukluks (more like booties, but I will be getting actual mukluk slippers soon!), among other random things. It was super fun!

We had the fam. over and I made so many cookies +baked goods, its not even funny. But our tree turned out nice! :D

While I was on my small unannounced, I had plenty of activites that I was running to and from. So sorry about that. The Picture above is from my schools ONLY formal dance. It was a good time :D I rocked a simple black empire waist dress with my hair super curly. It was fun :D

I also went on a weekend long retreat to JTOWN. Probably one of my favorite places, ever. I have been there before, but never when it was snowing. It was fantastic being up at the big cross on the hill. The pic above is me and some of the girls at the cross, where I had a bible study the first morning. It was great and probably my favorite memory. :D

Hair-wair, Weekends, and Veggies Oh My!

Just a general update on life :D Well, Some day this week I am (hopefully) going to get my hair cut. Just a trim, but I do want a change from the "reverse bob" style I was rocking for a while. Then I spotted this amazing cut on Jennifer Hudson, and knew I had to have it.
The next two weekends are going to be so busy, so don't expect daily blog posts. Well, its not like I have a huge ammount of readers, but whatever XD
Anywho, here is a brief overview of the next two weekends, which I will blog ALL about :)

This Weekend-
Friday- Viewing the fall play Tartuffe by Moliere. I watched a little bit of it and it looks like such a fun show. Who doesn't love french farse!
Saturday- Giving tours of the school XD, but more importantley, a CONCERT! I (with Aurley from Music--Love it! ) are going to The Academy is..., We the Kings, Carolina Liar, and another band which I never heard of. I am super excited. Plenty of pictures will be up!
Sunday- Church, Chamber Singers(the small singing group where you have to audition to get into, unlike chorus) performance at school, and Youth Group.

Then NEXT weekend-
I am spending a fun filled weekend with 3 super close friends of mine(including Aurley!) in Cleveland on a shopping trip! It is for the one girls 16th birthday, so we will surley have a great time :)

The date with Steve on Halloween didn't work :( And as you can see by my schedule, I probably won't see him for another 2 weeks. Except on Sundays, because he is a church boy :D

I was inspired by the blog Hail Mary to create my own "travel" look book for when I go shopping :) Take her advice and create your own! It really does help so your not always thinking "what cute stuff am I looking for?"

Big News...I have decided to go Vegiterian. Sorry to all you animal activists out there, but it is not strictly to save animals. I really want to have a much healthier lifestyle, and I feel going vegiterian is a great start. I was truley inspired by Shelby on La Belle Vegan. I am going to start out slow and eliminate meats+chicken immediatley, then slowly eliminate fish. Eliminating the fish will definetly be the killer. But lets see how this Veggie thing goes eh? (I will most likley create a new blog specifically for my new veggie craze.)

I decided since I did the section on Taylor Momsen, I would feature another celeb whose style and personality I think are truley amazing. The one and only Lauren Conrad!
Lauren Conrad (aka: LC) has taken the reality tv world by storm. Since she first became noticed on the hit show Laguna Beach, she has made a name for herself in all forms of media; but most importantly, the fashion world.
With her previous job as a Teen Vouge intern, she was able to live and breathe fashion. Must be why she has such incredible taste! Lauren is not your average girl from Laguna, she is a classy, mature woman whose style(and hair) basically rocks! As for today...

My life is tumbling into a black hole of entertainment...

Most of my readers probably have noticed, I watch a lot of TV. TV really lets me calm down and take a break from all the work and stress in my life. So when there is one of "my programs" on, I must watch it. I have even learned to do homework while watching them, because I can't miss my TV. I always need that...relief.

Another reason why I watch so much TV is I get a whole new perspective on different fashion trends and styles. Plus with all the "fashion formatted" shows today (aka: Stylista, Americas Next Top Model, Ugly Betty, Gossip Girl, Project Runway...) I learn so much about others fashion.

Any who, I was watching Ugly Betty this past Thursday and was SO happy Kimmi(aka Lindsay Lohan) was taken off the show. She was 1)a horrible actress and 2)a horrible person on the show. And when people mess with my shows, I get pretty mad. XD

Not going to lie, on the show, Lindsay always was styled to perfection, but in real life, she is a trashy La girl who parties and never wears underwear.(numerous sightings of her getting out of cars and accidentally flashing her "va-jay-jay" have been seen. INCLUDING at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards) So word of advice, please don't be trashy.
:D So I have exciting news...
I have been tagged! Well, my halloween was actually alot of fun :) I was going to go on another date with Steve, but then that didn't work out, so my dad and I had "bonding time" DX We went to a greek resteraunt and just chilled. I handed out candy and watched all the cute little kids :)
Then we watched the old version of Night of the Living Dead, which was one of the funniest things I think I have ever seen XD Overall, my Halloween was pretty fun! Hope you all had a great one!

Halloween--2 days early

Well, as the great blog fashionsqueah! pointed out, I said Halloween was today, but it really is not. My school's "festivities" are today, aka: Bizarre and Extreme Day. Here is my costume, which I feel very accomplished about :) I was going for a pretty random look, but then everyone determined I was a "90's aerobic instructer in Hawaii" Oh and by the way, in the above pic, I am not flashing you. the skirt...is actually a skort XD I know, amazing right! XD

Everything was thrifted, except the socks and the shoes. The socks I found the other day from when I was about 8, and the shoes are converse :)

I throughly enjoyed my fun day of festivities, but now I need to get my sleep, because I don't seem to get alot these days :( As for today...

Celebrity fashion--Taylor Momsen

Hey everyone! Tommorow is Halloween! I am beyong excited :D My crazy costume shall be amazing! Anywho, I decided in honor of my love for gossip girl, I would feature a celeb style update in my cute little blog XD

The name is Taylor Momsen, and Jenny Humphrey's her game. On Gossip Girl, this goody two shoes turned fashionista is taking the fashion world by storm. Not only is she becoming one celebrity constantly under the fashion worlds eye, but she has has modeled with IMG. She is definetly not the usual teenage celebrity.

The reason why I am featuring her is the drastic change of style "Jenny" took on Gossip Girl. From a cute prepster to a rock hard fashion designer, she is taking a ride on the bad side. I am loving her hair styling with the combination of the black eyeliner. And her use of plaid makes me happy :)

So there you have it! Taylor Momsen is now my official celeb style muse. Well, Jenny is. We will just have to see what fashion trends Taylor can start!

Sundays are just so lovely...

Today is such a nice fall day. Its not too cold, breezy, and just plain pretty :) I can already tell it will be great. Above is a (better) pic of my hair for those of you who haven't seen it. I got it cut about a month ago, and I basically love it. Except I kind of want to dye it a chocolate brown. Any opinions about dying your hair, etc?
My date last night went really well. We saw a movie but basically talked through the whole thing. Steve and I suprisingly have a lot in common! He plays in a band too :D

Fashion Tip of the Day: Forever 21 has some great new stuff for fall/winter, and since it is one of my favorite priced stores, I just had to show you some of my favorites.

For those of you who don't know me, I have an unreal obsession with moccasins. Its actually pretty disgusting. So once I saw this pair of boots, I knew I was in heaven. I love how you can dress these boots up or down. Don't be suprised if you see them on my in a couple weeks ;)

Cropped riding pant+blazer=what I want to wear to school. I go to a private/prep school, so this gossip girl-esque look really appeals to me. Plus I like the model's hair XD

This is all for today. There is a new goodwill that opened about 10-15 minutes from my house! So I am pretty excited :) Not very good accesories, but I found a couple cute things.

I loved the structure of the leather bag. Very versatile :D
A mid(or high) waisted grey skirt. I atually forget XD
But I have no idea what to wear it with. I don't usually do grey. So I have major fashion block.
Any suggestions?

Flanned zip up(Gap) its a little short on me, so I will wear it as a cropped jacket

Well field hockey is done :( We lost our first playoff game against our arch rivals which is pretty depressing.
But I did go on a 3 mile run today, which I was so proud of :)
Tommorow is a very important day...High School Musical 3 is coming out! YES :D Yes, my guilty pleasure is disney channel. You gotta love it :) 2 of my friends and I are going to the occasion, so get ready to see pictures up :D

I worked at my schools haunted house last weekend. I has such a fun time :D I was in the "Carrie" scaring little kids. goooooooood times :D

I went THRIFT-IN saturday and I found many good finds. Lots of mens dress shirts, a cute leather bag, a cute cardigan, 1 high waisted skirt, a couple belts, etc. Fun stuff :D

I have been having an unreal obsession with moccasins and fringe. by far my favorite trend of fall.
these slouchy boots I got on sale! Originally $140 to about $60. They look better on me than they do in the picture though :(

OH, and I got my hair cut. Short. I got a reverse bob, but it isn't as extreme as I wanted, but I really like it :D. I do feel like it would look better if I was blond, but I am staying a brunette forever :D

Tonight I am going to see Radio and Juliet ( a contemporary ballet) with my madre. I will most likley be rocking the slouchy boots. I will try to take pics! As for today...

I cannot believe I am such a failure...

Well, I did it again. I completley abannoned my blog, and all my readers for yet another 2-3 months. Why do I keep doing this :(

But I am going to try to keep up with the busy schedule and my blog, so all you christians be praying for me that I can survive!

If you are all wondering why I completley abandoned you, I will give you a nice biopsy on all the activites I did...

1. NWMC-(aka-New Wilmington Mission Conference) by far the best week of my life. I meet with a bunch of amazing christians and and missionaries and learn about the life changing work that they perform. It makes me want to go out there and change the world too! Plus we just have SO much fun while we are there. (don't worry, I kept up my fashion sense there too!)

we totally trashed out counselers room by shredding a ton of toilet paper and putting it in her room like snow! It was SO funny :Dthe girls we did it with had the best fashion sense :D

2. so that was NWMC. Then the NEXT week I went on the mission trip with my youth group and helped out this really cute old lady. Plus we went on a "scavenger hunt" through the city, meaning up runnning around like lunatics XD
we found these black rubber gloves that said they protected against 4000 volts of electricy...but they were copyrighted 1976. LOLso that was the mission trip. THEN there was East Coast Field Hockey Camp with my team where we showed our INTENSE skills to forein(and crazy!) coaches :D
then preason, then school.

that was the rest of my summer :( I know, pretty depressing right?
BUT there was the JONAS BROTHERS CONCERT with Aur-lay! That deserves a whole post for itself... well. I have to go do homework :( as for today...

Welcome to Fashion Confidence 101!

As I said at the end of my last post, I have had a few(but not many!) suggestions on what you want me to write about for my next blog posts, since I have a severe case of bloggers block :( I got these two (similar) suggestions to base my post off of today :D

1) "how to keep your style individual without looking like your trying to hard?"

2)"how to look fashionable without looking like EVERYONE-ELSE!"

After some major debating, I came up with some helpful tips and hints for you all to use :D

Confidence! That is definetly the key component to wearing, well, any outfit! I am sure you all know that, but we all need to be reminded constantly(even me!) that confidence is key. You can pull of any look if you come into a room with good posture, a confident walk, and a big smile.
Don't complain to you friends secretly about....erm....how you bra strap sticks out or something. Just act like you meant it to happen. I definetly would compare this to performing. If you are on stage dancing, acting, etc., you always make sure no one knows your mistakes. You act like they were meant to be!
A great way to keep your style individual is to go to unknown stores. Check out vintage, or thrift stores! You can find totally unique pieces there, and (usually!) won't have to worry about your arch enemy walking into school wearing the same dress as you :D Some people I know are grossed out by thrift stores, but that makes being unique so much easier!
Here is something I cannot do...go on a major shopping trip with my friends (except Aurley!) Most of them I would get so annoyed because I take so long to shop. I like to take hours searching through racks. So I suggest if you want to find unique things, take 1 friend maximum. Mabey thats just me though...

Umbrella, ella, ella...

As many of you know, Tuesday I went to the Pirates game. It was a ermm......interesting time. I was excited to go, because we decided to try these all you can eat seats, so I got in my pirates gear and decided to go.
After eating dinner and taking pictures of the skyline, my dad and I went to our seats. Now, we usually get good seats and all, but this time, he accidently got the seats on the end. you see those corner seats above right next to the big P? Well, those were ours DX there were cobwebs along that wall, and right under my cupholder was a cobweb with a bunch of bugs in it. It was absolutley disgusting. Plus there were so many dragonflies *shudder*
By the 3rd inning, we finally leave to get more food and go under shelter, since I saw a pitch black cloud coming torwards us. And what do you know, it pours for...2 1/2 hours. Do we leave...NO! My Dad is one of those die hard fanswho refuse to leave. Yeah, I know. Crazy.
So after the 2 1/2 hours, they finally took off the tarp. YAY!!!!!
I even went to get some food for my dad and take pretty pictures of the skyline :D

We were lucky enough to see the "Great Pittsburgh Pierogie Race!"

Oliver Onion(my secret lover) lost :(

Then the tarp came back out :( We left after that, cause it was already Midnight XD

The next day, we found out the Pirates won :D

Hey everyone! Woah. I haven't posted in like, a day. Thats a new record XD (I am being sarcastic if you didn't notice)

Well, up above was an idea I aquired from threadbanger.com and I had to try it out. The idea was to organize your bookshelfs by color! So I made mine into a pretty rainbow. I tried to scatter the heights of the books to give it a messy vibe, but the colors make it orderly. I hope you actually understand what I am trying to say right now...LOL

Tonight I am headed to the pirates game. My Dad and I always go to about 5 games a year, so I am off!

The title says it all. All you readers are the cheese to my macaroni (brilliantly spoken in JUNO). I just want to let you all (for about the hundreth time XD ) that I appreciate every comment you all leave. Thanks :DAnyways, yesterday and today was a pretty intense day. Remember the friend I went to see in the 4th of July Parade? Well, I slept over her house yesterday, and had a pretty sweet time. We of course, were being girls and goofing off. We "frolicked" as we called it in her backyard. Basically, our definition of frolick is "running around the yard, posing, and trying to go on the rope swing" Yeah, we are pretty weird.
Then after, we ate popcorn, drank Fuse, and watched Juno. Juno is now my new favorite movie. Ever. The next day we got up early and went on a bike ride by a nearby river. We, of course, were taking a bunch of pictures. Including with the steel man!Then we stopped at this amazingly cute "gilmore girls" like shop and ate cheesecake. We now want to go find the Gilmore Girls town and eat food there. Well, right behind the resteraunt was this cool little playground, as a PIRATE SHIP :D We found it to be the most amazing thing, ever, so we were taking many pictures there. Then we went home, went swimming, and were done for the day XD We are both pretty much dead.
One thing I have to tell you all is I found out her sister is as obsessed with the Jonas Brothers as I am. Just look at her room!

Well, I am currently working on another Look for less post for your daily dose of fashion. As for todays daily dose...

Hey everyone(I am currently watching Boston Pops firework show on tv and Rascal Flats is singing--hence the title)! I hope everybody had a great 4th of July! I sure did. The above picture is from the parade I went to. I went to see a very close friend from dance perform! She is a Canonnette, which is her schools dance team. She was so great :D I also had a nice day relaxing, and D.I.Y-ing. I am in the process of spray painting picture frames and using one to create an earing holder! Its a tradition in my family to make HUGE vanilla milkshakes on the 4th of July, so we made an adventure to Giant Eagle to get a tub of Ice Cream. So I make my usual rounds on the magazine rack when I spot not 1 but 2 magazines all about the JONAS BROTHERS :D One, as you see above, is the life story. I, of course, already know but I just had to get the magazine. I am considering framing it. For real.

Yeah. I almost completley flipped out when the cashier handled the magazines so poorly. I refused to buy a copy with there beautiful faces bent. Yeah I know, I am a waaaaaaaay too obsessed.Even though it was kind of cold today, I decided to wear the above outfit. *note* this is my first time ever modeling my clothes! LOL I searched everywhere for a good picture taking place with some good light. So sorry the light problems :( Anyways, this was my outfit for today. I know, I am so unpatriotic XD I needed something comfortable for the parade, so I styled bermudas, a flowy tank, but added a waistline with a woven belt.

Today I went to the Doctors :( I absolutley despise the Doctors. But I am now 2 shots away from becoming one less(The Gardisil Shot) XD

As a treat for actually getting the shot was a trip to the Goodwill :D Yes, a strange trip I know, but a really big goodwill is right by the hospital so, we went and I found some very cute items.

regular life...summer update

well, these last couple of days have been pretty normal. Just watching tv and helping my parents with our kitchen renovation.

I have been watching E! alot, and watching many youtube videos. I watched 4 hours of SNL greatest moments :D My favorite moment it definetley the "more cowbell" sketch. "I've got a fever, and the only perscription is more cowbell." LOL

I also watched legally blond on the internet all weekend :D It was great.

I really need to go shopping :(

Oh! On Saturday I babysat at a wedding. It was a good time.

On Sunday I went to the Hot Metal Bridge Church with people from New Wilmington Mission Conference(18 days till NWMC). It was amazing. The Church was so loving and it was so much fun.

Well, I am absolutley bored. I have to help out my parents with the kitchen, but they refuse to let me do anything. So I have a nice day watching E! and browsing Style.com for fashion tips. So for my fashion tips of the day, I decided to do a look for less!

I absolutley love Betsey Johnson's fall line. It has a bohemian, beatnik vibe that I love. I am going to try to take the look for less of the bellow item. I have no idea how the full outfit costs(because style.com doesn't say) so here I go! (the links below are to the websites)

The Dress above from Forever 21(One of my favorite stores) Is a strapless dress like original with that slight rocker edge, shown in the belt. I am choosing not to use a cami or bra that is underneath the dress, because I think the look can be pulled off without it(plus I didn't find anything like it) Dress= $24.80

This wool blend cabbie cap(forever21) totally fits the rocker/poet part. Cap= $10.80This wristlet(forever21) is similar to the one above. I could not find a plain one like the one in the original picture, but this has a smooth texture and has a cute snap, making it perfect for this outfit.
This clutch(from forever 21) gives the plain look the clutch in the original gives, but with a small flair. clutch = $10.80TOTAL=$81.19

This watch(from forever 21) is a great addition to the rocker outfit. The original watch is gold, but I went with a silver watch, to prevent from a clash of silver and gold(the belt on the dress has silver) watch= $14.80

These 2 heels(both from Famous Footwear) are totally different in style and price. Above, this pair is like the pair in the original, but with a sale price of $36.99. At the bottom, this pair is totally different but with a more rocker vibe have a sale price of $19.99. For the sake of getting the smallest price, I will choose the ones to the bottom.

TOTAL=$81.19

The greatest part of this outfit is that all of these items are wardrobe staples, so your money will be put to good use in other outfits! I really hope you enjoyed my own version of "The look for less" It took FOREVER but it was so worth it. :D

New Music, New Pictures, New Post

As you can see from my below post, I was on a break for a little while. (If you haven't read it already, please read that :D ). Now I am doing a little renovation.

1) I added a new profile pic of myself. It is actually from last year, but I felt the need for a change. I would have taken a recent, more fashionable picture, but everyday has been a pajama and hair up day. LOL!

2) I added a new PLAYLIST! I am very excited that I got the chance to change the music. The songs that play are some of my favorites, old and new. Don't worry, there are 2 Jonas Brothers songs the entertain your ears :D But definetly check it out. There may be music there you never have heard before ;D

Some people have been having trouble with the playlists and how they donot play. If you do want a playlist, you need to add a html box on your blog and then add the html from the playlist there. Hope I helped (especially you Caitlin)

3) I am adding a list of some blogs that I have grown to know alot and constantly read. Please check it out. :D

Advice from you...
-I need some ideas on what fashion advice you all would like to hear. Just to broaden my blog from the usual "store of the week"

My Current Obsession: CAMP ROCK. Lol, I know what your thinking now...wow. It is pretty cheesy, but Joe Jonas is in it, and he is just so fine :D For you bloggers, I watched (not only every tv premiere of it) but the online edition. So I got a bunch of screen shots of it for all of you jonas brother fans. I will gradually post the pictures. I didn't just get the Jonas brothers, but alot of other shots from the movie.

Summer fashion store(and update on my life)

Hey everyone. Just giving you a quick update on my extremley hectic life.

This past weekend I rehearsed and then performed at our churches youth sunday. Youth sunday is a day in may where the youth group takes over the service. We have alot of people in our youth group so it was amazing. We sing fun, contemporary christian songs, and just have a blast.
Then it was the last youth group of the school year. We were there for four hours, but it felt like 1. We sat around and talked about our favorite memories, and thanked everyone for how much they inspired us, etc. It was amazing. You could totally feel god's presence working in that room. I will always remember that moment.

English project is done, now I have a world civilizations project, a spanish test, bio quiz, and finals. AHHHHH

I need some weight loss tips. I need to really control what I eat. Any suggestions?

Fashion tidbit today=summer clothing. I am getting so pumped for summer. 13 more days left! I personally love to shop at http://www.pacsun.com/ they have such cute summer items that make my days at the pool a little more enjoyable. They have some pretty cute swimwear and dresses with lots of color. Pac sun is also great for the sporty girl who wants a store where they can dress up, or dress down. Casually of course! Another favorite of mine is that on the website, you can shop by brand name. I personally am a fan of roxy(when I have some money XD) so it is so nice and easy to just click the cute roxy button and find all my favorite board shorts and swimsuits.
Another plus is they have a great clearance rack. I got this amazingly cute billabong shirt for $9! It wasn't just a t-shirt, it was a nice, dress up or down shirt. (I will eventually take a pic of it :D )

Whitney won ANTM!

I am beyond excited that Whitney won America's next top model [cycle 10]. Another fact of info for you all...I love the show ANTM(favorite show after GREEK). I love seeing real girls go into the modeling world and learn how to model, pose, and strut there stuff! I am so excited Whitney wone because she represents real women. I am all for the girls in ads with the skinny legs and flat chest, but Whitney proves that girls who are more full figured(like me) can truly work it.

Tidbit happens to be my new favorite word

I have some time while waiting for my dad to leave work, so I am going to give you some tidbits on whats going on in my life :D plus the fashions of the day!

School this week has been, eh. ok. We have had ERB's, the most stupidest standardized test ever. I can't believe highschoolers actually have to take them. ew.

Its Friday! I love Friday :D
Today I walked into the town right by my school. It is literally a 5 minute walk and its so pretty. It is your average North Eastern town, with a mainstreet and everything. We went to starbucks and brueggers, conviently very close to the beginning of the street. Underneath is the cute little town's mainsteet. Isn't it so...cute!

Now for the fashion tidbits. I have one thing to talk about before we get to another one of my favorite stores and that is...heels. I have been noticing some people wear heels to school. Don't get me wrong, I love heels and I love wearing them, but some people don't know how to walk and wear them. Here is some advice on the art of wearing heels in a casual setting.

Learn how to actually walk in heels. Some people drag there feet, some people stay on there toes, the list is endless. I actually practice wearing heels in places with a big area, like Costco. I also always walk in front of the mirror too check out how I walk. This may seem a little silly, but it works! I also suggest wearing a new pair of heels for a day to break them in so you prevent foot dragging during school or any major public place where you know people.
Know how to dress heels. Some people at my school try to look all cool with heels and a short skirt, etc. However, they look like a slut, and the outfit+heels isn't even that cute. Anyways, If you really want to wear six inch heels to a casual place(I don't suggest it)wear something knee length or right above the knee. I love pairing wide leg pants with heels because they make your legs look endless.
Wear the right kinds of heels. You don't want to be looking completly stupid in your high super skinny heeled stilletos. I suggest pumps, because with a larger heel you can walk a little better.

Now my 1 fashion don't when wearing heels is...don't wear espadrilles.

They are the most ugliest fashion statement since uggs and crocs. I honestly don't understand why people wear them. Yes some people can pull them off, but still. They completley cut off your leg extension and make your legs look stubby. I don't suggest them .

wow. how lame am I?

Don't you just love how I post how I haven't been on lately, and abandon my blog. Again. Hahaha, I sometimes wonder about myself XD

Anyways here is the update on my life...

1. I am sick. I stayed home from school yesterday and had a nice relaxing day on the couch, watching TV, movies and playing with the on demand feature. After I discovered that, I was able to watch 4 episodes of the hills and 4 of What not to Wear. It was a pretty good day.

2. The Laramie Project is over and it was an amazing experience. This play has completely opened my eyes to new issues in the world that I want to cure and help. It has really challenged my patience, faith and jealousy and confidence. It has made me think about the world as I never have before. Plus I had a ton of fun in the process.

3. SPRING AWAKENING is coming to Pittsburgh! This amazing show is about coming of age in a world where parents don't talk about those "things" around anyone. I am completely in love with the music and the acting, even though I have never even seen it yet!(I have done my fair share of research on youtube :D) I am a huge fan of RENT and this show already looks like a hit to me in my book. I am so excited!

4. I have gained some weight. Majorly :( I am so disappointed in myself that I let my weight get the better of me but it has. I need some good work out tips/foods/videos to help me in my restoration of my already big built body. It has been throwing off my fashion life majorly.

5. I really need to go shopping. My clothing is getting so...old. I need some new stuff thrown in the wardrobe.
6. I finally have some free time to do...something. I absolutely need to study. I am getting completely stressed and swamped with work and I am starting to function in "summer" mode. I need to eat some protein and focus.

7. Is anyone a fan of the show GREEK? I know I am :D I have been completely addicted to the show since it aired last summer. Yes, I have watched every episode the night it comes on and I have watched them over and over on abcfamily.com. I am a completely crazy girl right now.

Now for my featured store of the day: The Gap. If your not a familiar shopper with the gap, you may think of it as...well, lets not go there. I personally, a preppy girl, love the gap. There clothing is very clean cut and sophisticated. This is a store that you van get some great basic pieces to go with any outfit. I love there selection of cardigans and dresses. I found the cutest tank dress on the sales rack for $25! I pair it with a airy white turtleneck with a mid length sleeve(thanks to forever21) and always wear it to school. I will put a picture of it up soon. My one turn-off of the Gap is their prices. If you have never been to my blog before or just don't know me that well, I am the the biggest bargain hunter on the face of the earth. My goal in life is too make runway worthy outfits with cheaper pieces. Plus I just don't have the money. So my only time I go to the Gap is when I have a nice hefty gift card from the family. The Gap clothing store has many wardrobe staples to complete your closet.

Today was school :( Finally back after my glorious 4 day weekend of doing absolutley nothing. Yesterday I was making a fashion book. I snip out magazine cut outs and paste them into my book for inspiration. I decided that I want to really get into sewing and design.

Today at rehearsal we rehearsed the Luck be a Lady Dance. I was completley bored the whole time.

TOMMOROW I will find out if I got into the Laramie Project! OMG I am so nervous :D

Here is my (quick) fashion goodies for today! My feature store is forever 21 and I simply adore it! It has great prices and completley chic clothes! I kinda like how everything is jumbled together, so when you really look, you can find something completley cute. The dress the left you can find at there online store http://www.forever21.com/ I love the mix of patterns and the patchwork. Pair it with your fav. pair of flipflops and a slim white tee, and your set for a day of relaxing with your friends! I just love the carefree, earthy vibe you get from it. The booties down below I simply adore. The are very tres chic. I want to take them and stroll through the streets of NYC with them. I would love to pair them with a pair of shorts and tights. or a pair of skinny dark wash jeans.

Whats your idea's on how you would make these boots as chic as possible? If you wantto get really into it, try a casual look and formal. I would love your ideas and opinions :D It would make my day :D

Presidents Day--what a strange holiday!

Presidents day=a day off of school. Nothing more. I bet it was a holiday developed by the schools to give us and teachers a day off. I really don't understand its signifigance in the real world though.

Martin Luther Kind Day=there are celebrations and rememberance church services
Veterans Day=services and such
Memorial Day=more services
But Presidents Day=NOTHING!

I guess no one really cares about our dead presidents. I know I don't

well...I don't know about you all, but because of school and our dress code(no jeans, stenciled t-shirts, hoodies, flip flops or skirts higher then 3 inches above the knee) I am limeted clothing wise. Thats why I love old navy. They have such chic stuff for a decent price. Plus it lasts for a good ammount of time. I was very excited when the released there Urban explorer line for spring. I am ready to experiment with cute new tribal styles. The khaki romper(pictured to the right) I find is a daring yet fashionable piece I am excited to add to my wardrobe. It would look great with a great pair of gladiatiors and some eye popping accesories.

The brown braided belt(pictured to the left) is a very hot accesory for spring. I honestly have seen it in many online stores. I definetly want one.

The Cardigan you see to my right may not be what you picturesd as a safari and tribal theme, but I simple adore it. I have always been a sucker for a good cardigan, and usually all of them, come from old navy. I seriousley think I am always cold, rain or shine. (I wear my winter coat in 60 degree weather :D) I find you can pair a good cardigan with basically anything. So you shoudl get one :D Best part of all these items???
They are CURRENTLY on sale! :D So you better run out and get some now. If I could drive and had some money, I would be running too :D

Hmm. I really need to clean. My house is disgusting. I will go do that in a little while...

Ok. I have exactly 1 month until vacation! I am beyond excited. I am taking a cruise to the southern carribean. Hello Sun, fun and tanning! But I want to get a little bit of a glow before I go. Any gradual tanners (in cream) you would suggest? Plus I need a new bathing suit! AHH! way too many things too do right now. Well...for the mabey 5 people who bother reading my blog, I miss fashionista, am asking for advice. I need a gradual tanner and a swimsuit. Any suggestions?

I had to get up at 7 on a weekend to go to church. And then I find my mom did not get up on time. So I am currently waiting to leave for confirmation class since today we are skipping church.

My yesterday was a fairly normal saturday. My parents are remodeling our kitchen so they went to a granite place and to the cabnit place. I had a fun day of being lazy and working on my blog. Plus looking at all the spring sales for tommorow :D. The amazing sunglasses above and below are from fredflare.com and are featured in cosmo girl and seventeen. I shall be getting myself a pair, thats for sure.

I have also realized(after reading an article in cosmo girl) that I miss writing in my journal. I (even before I had a blog or facebook) was an avid journal writer. I wrote everything, including stuff that doesn't even make sense. It could be sloppy or neat, pretty or ugly. But whatever it was, it was mine and mine only. I love blogging dearly but I am determined to start up my journal writing. With a blog, you have restrictions so you do not cause contreversy or conflict, but with a journal, you can express every feeling that is running through your body without anybody judging you over it. It is just a great feeling.

Yesterday for dinner we went out to eat n' park. I love eat n' park, and the one somewhat close to me has the BEST salad bar. So I knocked myself out eating chili and applesauce. I watched some vh1 and some abc family. GREEK, my ultimate favorite tv show(after gossip girl and antm :D) starts up again in march. March 24th to be exact.

My Jonas Story

Since this blog is for my main purpose to spill my lifes thrills and chills, I feel it neccesary to tell every story possible...So I am about to share my Hannah Montanna/Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brothers Concert story!

You know how the concerts were completley sold out in about 2 minutes...well obviousley I could not get tickets. I was so crushed. I was searching everyday on the internet to find tickets to see the JONAS BROTHERS! My ultimate love :D WE have a family friend who told us he had tickets for 4, so 3 friends and I went! Woah...it was beyond amazing. We totally were freaking out when the Jonas Brothers came on stage. It was great :D
My friends(and people at my school) call them the Jo Bros. Well, we were like "oh my gosh, its the Jo Bros!" Here is the greatest thing-->this little (snobby) girl turns around in her seat and says "stop calling them that!" in the most obnoxious, snobby voice you would ever hear.
We practially died laughing.

The last song of the concert was Best of Both Worlds, which by far is possibly the worst song ever to end an amazing concert with. So we left in the middle of the song and ran to where the tour buses were parked at the arena. We stood (in 30 degree weather) waiting for 45 minutes for them to come out and they [finally] did! We started chanting Jonas and they came and shook our hands!(along with everyone else on the fence we were standing on)
By far the best night of my life XD
It was just...amazing.

Well, I just got back from auditions and it was the most craziest, wildest emotion roller coaster I have ever experienced. I have been to so many auditions, but none like this.

The play is the Laramie Project. In case you have no idea what the Laramie Project is, it is a play about the death of Mathew Shepeard and how he was killed because he was gay.
Here is the catch, only 10 people are in the play. guess how many auditioned?

21, yeah. I was pretty nervous. But I kept my cool :D

I got to be stoned, and it was fun XD

My VALENTINES DAY was great. My boyfriend and I exchanged cheesy cards and he gave me a big hug and kiss :D It was fun.

I am currently...watching gilmore girls. Just to let you know :D Hopefully my parents will let us go to dinner soon. I am starving.

School hmm...well school is going ok. ehh. I am trying to be an overachiever and raise my grades, so I hope I can do it. I just need to raise english and spanish and I will be set.

You know what I don't understand? Why I find chinese(yes I take chinese) easier then spanish. There is something just plain wrong about that.

I am a pretty big christian, and for lent we are doing this lenten project where they give us 50 dollars and we have to do something with it. I am thinking about making a bunch of chocolate and selling it for the big easter rush. Any other idea's?
